Summer Networking Event at the W Hotel

We hosted our Summer networking event at the W Hotel on 5th June.

We were delighted to showcase another unusual venue to our members and guests. The W Hotel is situated in the heart of Leicester Square and is ideal for couples looking to host their wedding at a contemporary venue.

Guests were treated to fabulous cocktails, delicious canapes and bowl food and dessert treats. 

Hazel welcomed everyone on behalf of NAWP and updated everyone on our latest news. We also felt well worthy of mention during our update was our member Stuart Wood who has completed his book SIX.SIX.FORTY-FOUR - a personal project to photograph D Day veterans spanned over five years. The 29 veterans and their stories are now a major exhibition at The National Memorial Arboretum until September 1st, commemorating the 75th Anniversary of D Day. Well done Stuart!

General Manager of W Hotel, Martijn Mulder and Special Events Manager, Emma Murray-Jones both presented a synopsis of the W Hotel and its facilities.

We were delighted to have our Media member, Madeleine Jones of Making Your Business Shine, deliver an insightful and inspiring presentation on 'Creating content to attract new clients'. Maddy's knowledge and expertise is well renowned and deserved in our industry and her presentation was hugely helpful to everyone who attended.

Maya Kemp was our photographer for the evening - a big thank you to Maya for a fabulous job.

As is usual at our events, our guests are enthusiastic to see the host venue, and the team at W Hotel were on hand to lead show rounds throughout the rest of the evening.

As we now enter the peak season, we wish you all a successful summer of weddings and look forward to seeing you all at our next event at The Foundling Museum on 18th November.
